Description

E. and O.V. Railway Company streetcar #136. The Evansville and Ohio Valley Railway Co. was a merger of several local lines, Evansville and Eastern, Evansville and Mt. Vernon, and Evansville Henderson and Owensboro--that reorganized into E. and O.V. in 1919. The local lines were operated by Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Co. (SIGECO). (http://donsdepot.donrossgroup.net/dr548.htm) The sign above the number indicates that this ran to Rockport and Tell City. This location appears to be a car barn/storage facility.
