M. Daussmann home at 124 Washington Ave., Edward Boetticher home possibly at 807, now 407 N. First Ave., Armstrong Furniture Co. in the 100 block of 1st St., Charles H. Kellogg home at 1113 Parrett St., North Storm home at 304 SE First St., and First National Bank at 29-31 Main St. Daussmann was secretary treasurer of the F.W. Cook Brewing Co., and this house was built in 1887. No more information could be found about Edward Boetticher, and this house has been razed. The Armstrong furniture company dates to 1874, with this structure believed to have been destroyed by fire in 1890. The Kellogg house was built in 1877, but the tower has since been removed. In 2022 there is a restaurant in this building. Boetticher and Kellogg were partners in a hardware business. The Storm house was built circa 1860 and remodeled in 1889, with the remodel seen here. According to his grave, the last name is Storms, with North Storms living from 1842-1893. He was believed to have been in the petroleum business. First National Bank moved from its 5 N. Water St. location to this one in 1866 and changed its name to City National Bank. The bank moved again circa 1914 and in 1922 became National City Bank.
