Liederkranz Maennerchor at 302 Market St., formerly 2 Second Ave. This was a German singing society. The group was in existence for over 20 years before it moved into this new building in 1911. When German groups had to limit their activities during WWI, the building was sold to the Knights of Columbus in 1918. The building still stands today and is part of a larger facility for senior living.
