Description

Dress Plaza was constructed in 1936 by the Public Works Administration. It had just been completed when the flood of 1937 inundated downtown, putting the new plaza underwater. Dress Plaza was remodeled around 2000 to include permanent seating and is now part of the Pigeon Creek Greenway Passage, once again making the riverfront a desirable spot for walkers, runners, and bikers.
