Armstrong Township School at 15849 Big Cynthiana Rd, formerly R. R. 7. The school was built as a WPA project in 1936. Township schools were incorporated into the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) system in 1960, and this ceased to be a school in 1972. Today this building serves as the Armstrong Recreation Center.
