Trinity Luthern School, a.k.a. German Evangelical Lutheran Trinity School at 716 W. Illinois St., formerly 421-5 E. Illinois St. Built in 1894 and enlarged in 1913, this school was 3 blocks from the church. In 1955 the church built a school next door and the school shown here was used by the Boys and Girls Club. That club moved to another location in 2007 and this building was razed in 2009. NOTE: There is also a Trinity Lutheran church and school in Darmstadt, in northern Vanderburgh County. Its school closed in 2010.
