Trophy case with a photograph of the 1969 IHSAA sectional and regional basketball winner, Rex Mundi High School. Rex Mundi High School was at 3501 N. First Ave. It opened in 1958 as Evansvilles third Catholic high school. Dwindling attendance meant its last class graduated in 1972 and the school closed. The building was sold to Indiana Vocational Technical College (Ivy Tech), which still exists in this location today. SEE ALSO MSS 181-0554.
