Description

Library at ISUE. ISUE was established as a branch campus of Indiana State University in 1965. In 1985 the university was made a separate state university, the University of Southern Indiana (USI). This building, and roughly this view, remains, although this is no longer the library. What is seen here is now incorporated as a portion of the University Center, and in 2006 a new free-standing library was opened. At some time before the move to the new facility, the library was named in honor of the universitys first president, David L. Rice (1929-2020), who served from 1967-1994.
