Description

Perry County Old Courthouse Museum at 125 S. 7th St. in Cannelton, IN. This building was built in 1896 after the county seat moved from Rome, IN to Cannelton. (The county seat move took place in 1859 and the courthouse was an old schoolhouse until this building was built.) In 1994 the county seat moved again, this time to Tell City, its current location.
