Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Co. Garvin substation on Stringtown Rd. near where it intersects Garvin St. with railroad tracks in the foreground. The company was more commonly referred to by its acronym SIGECO. In 2000 a merger with another utility created the name Vectren, which is the current name. This substation building still stands but is not in use.
