Description

Sketch of 3 women wearing a short sleeved shirt with skirt, a blouse with pants and a long outerwear jacket with skirt. This is the cut out of the advertisement, and the copy reads, Summer means casual, free-wheeling separates to mix about and personalize with your own look.Anne Klein does her deep-Summer group in unbleached muslin to wear collectively with a smile and a tan or to mix with all the good solids, prints and stripes you already own. The text also includes the name of the store and Friday hours. On the back is written Summer 1977. Anne Klein (August 3, 1923 - March 19, 1974) was an American fashion designer. Her birth name was Hannah Golofsky (it has also been written as Golofski). She changed her first name to Anne, and took Ben Klein's last name when she married him in 1948.. She was the first fashion designer after Coco Chanel to adapt men's clothing styles into how outfits were produced and designed for women.
