Vanderburgh Convention Center/Auditorium at 715 Locust St. (the white building). This facility underwent major remodeling in the mid 1990s and was renamed the Centre. Today it is named Old National Events Plaza. What is seen today bears no resemblance to what is seen in this photograph. The corner of the building seen on the left is the Civic Center complex, housing city and county offices.
