Description

Indiana State University-Evansville (ISUE) at 8600 University Blvd. Established as a branch campus of Indiana State University in 1965, the college moved to the location depicted here, some 1400 acres, in 1969. In 1985 the university was made a separate state university, the University of Southern Indiana (USI). Seen here is the bridge that connected the library (right) to the University Center, as seen from an office, possibly in the Technology building. These structures have been greatly remodeled. The library is no longer in this location; this building was taken down to the studs and remodeled. There is now a a cone-shaped building and a fountain near the middle of this picture, and the new (2006) library occupies the green space.
