Description

J.H. Schultz Co. Shoes at 325 Main St. When this photograph was taken is unknown, other than the clues given by the car and the clothing. (The car appears to be of 1910s vintage.) It is know that the Schultz shoe business was not there in 1904, but was there by 1911, and was still there in 1931 but gone by 1936. By 1937 a different shoe store, Ben Becker Shoes, occupied this location, and in time, the fascade was completely remodeled. The building still stands today, but it is now Art Deco in style and thus does not resemble what is seen here.
