In 1985 the university was made a separate state university, the University of Southern Indiana (USI). Seen here is the western end of the campus. The building in the middle is the power plant, the building with the cars parked next to it is a temporary classroom building, and the low building on the left is the Indiana University School of Medicine annex. The classroom building is gone. The power plant is now expanded/remodeled and called the Physical Plant. The medical annex building now houses Publishing Services. The IU School of Medicine is currently housed in the Health Professions Building, but will be moving to its own building in downtown Evansville in 2018.}, url = {http://library.usi.edu/record/1525669}, }
