Southern Securities Building at 329 Main St.--the Chamber of Commerce had its office on the mezzanine, and Thom McAn Shoes occupied the street level. It was built in 1916 and has housed a variety of banks or financial institutions, but since 2012 has been luxury apartments. The Chamber of Commerce currently occupies space in a building directly across the street from what is shown here. Thom McAn retail stores no longer exist, although the brand is available through Sears.
