Description

Correspondence from Pvt. Leo Volz to Ann Ruxer. He responds to her comment about censorship of his last letter by saying he has no idea what he said that should be censored, but that his opinion doesn't matter in this issue. She's said his pictures look jungle and he says that it is plenty hot. He says that if she indeed played at the Siberia (a small community not that far from her) picnic, then she must feel like hot stuff. She's told him she's trying to get a job in Jasper (a larger city north of her) and he replies that he thought she had a good job. As to Martin (his brother) not liking the Army, well, that's because he's not used to it yet. This letter was S.W.A.K. NOTE: these correspondents will marry, and were married 53 years at his death in 2000.
