He tells here that anything she might want from Hawaii will just come from the states and the price will be double, but if she really wants something, he will try to find it. He's been told his father has a new car and he wishes to be home to see it, and have some fun. He talks about all the boys being gone from home and if he were back there, he would get even with her for something she did to him last year. He's moved and misses his nice quarters, but in this man's army you have to take the good with the bad. He ends by asking her to write more often.
