Description

Wagon with the name Weicker on it, drawn by a team of 6 horses. This location is in front of the Greek Theater and Colonnade of Civic Benefactors, located on the south end of Civic Center Park. It was designed by architects Willis A. Marean and Albert J. Norton and was constructed in 1919. (https://www.masonryofdenver.com/2014/09/civic-center-park-greek-theater-voorhies-memorial/) Weicker Transfer and Storage Company was on Bannock Street in the Civic Center neighborhood of Denver. According to a 2013 Denver Post article, the O'Meara Ford business had been in Denver since 1913 and was still in business 100 years later.
