Birmingham Alabama Courthouse. Designed by Henry Wolters. This is the pre-1931 Jefferson County Courthouse in Birmingham, AL. It was built circa 1888 and razed in March 1937. This building was several blocks south of the current location at 716 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd N. The current courthouse was completed in 1932 and is the 6th main courthouse in Jefferson County and the 3rd in Birmingham.
