L and N Train Depot ticket office, originally at 18th St. S and 1st Ave. N. in downtown Birmingham. Designed by Henry Wolters. After its use as a depot, it was the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum, Inc. Vandalism caused the museum to be moved to Calera, AL. The building seen here has been razed, and a Google maps view of this area of Birmingham shows a large, open Railroad Park.
