The building still stands, but is now referred to as the old Courthouse, as government offices moved into another building in 1969. The Courthouse spans the block between NW 4th St. and NW 5th St., bounded by Vine St. and Court St. The Courthouse sits on ground that was once the turnaround for the Wabash and Erie Canal. Larry Kent Aiken (1940-2010) was a local entertainment promoter.
