Description
Correspondence from Owen Hamilton to his sister June Meyer (June E. Hooe Hamilton Meyer, 1919-2010 (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/81471045/june-e_hooe-meyer). He's going to blow it out tonight as his battalion is having a dance at the service club and it looks really nice. He plans to meet Bob (no further identification) in Montgomery, who is expecting him, has drinks, and dates lined up, so it will be a good time. He caught a lucky break for next week--the division will go out in the field all week and he drew battalion guard and will get to stay in camp and act as Sergeant of the Guard. He will catch up on sleep and letter writing. He hasn't heard from the Dothan lodge (Masonic) and is beginning to wonder--have they heard anything?
