Description

Correspondence from Owen Hamilton to his sister June Meyer (June E. Hooe Hamilton Meyer, 1919-2010 (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/81471045/june-e_hooe-meyer). Now that he's out here he is writing to let them know he's OK. Now that he's out here he's glad they came this way instead of east. He was able to bring his address with him, so send him Jimmy Eades' and Ed Neuck's addresses so he can write to them. He cannot remember them as Army addresses aren't easy to remember. The west coast is alright and you can see the Rockies. They are very beautiful and he wishes he could spend more time in them. He is sorry Bob (no further identification) couldn't get into the cadets as it would have been a good opportunity for him. The Air Corps isn't too bad so he should make it ok. He thinks they will leave here soon but he's not sure as you never know with the Army. He'll let there know when they arrive and how he made out.
