Description

Correspondence from Owen Hamilton to his sister June Meyer (June E. Hooe Hamilton Meyer, 1919-2010 (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/81471045/june-e_hooe-meyer). He thanks her for the money--it came in handy because there were some things he wanted to purchase before his trip. He won't be able to write for several weeks, but they can continue to use the Rucker address until he gets his change of address. He is sending their mother some flashlight batteries and a pair of rubber high tops for Morgan (her husband)--if they fit, they're useful for outdoor work. He wants to lessen his load since he doesn't have a lot of space to carry things. He asks her to continue to write as it's nice to receive a bunch of mail from home, and suggests that V-mail is probably the best bet for fast delivery.
