Description

Correspondence from Owen Hamilton to his sister June Meyer (June E. Hooe Hamilton Meyer, 1919-2010 (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/81471045/june-e_hooe-meyer). He'd been planning to meet Bob (no further identification) in Montgomery for some time and at the last minute he couldn't get out. It is hard not to be able to live your own life and come and go as you please. Mother told him that John Burns is overseas now, and this was a surprise because he thought he was still at Crowder (probably Ft. Crowder, MO). Did Bob make the flying cadets? He hasn't heard from Dothan yet and hopes they will contact him soon as he's not going to be down there that long and would hate to miss his 3rd degree being this near to it (this is believed to be in reference to his work with the Masons). He got the pictures from home and likes them. He asks how were the movies, and wishes he could see them.
