The letter is addressed to Mom, Pop, and Virginia. He's glad they're back home and doing ok, and comments that apparently it's a little more work to look after a baby than they expected. Does she cry all night and keep them up? He asks what Mac (no further identification) thinks of Ginny and says he's probably jealous because he's not getting as much attention. They've said that Mary, the WAVE he met, does not seem to be his type, and he replies that they do not know what a year overseas can do to a fellow. The way he feels now, anyone is his type so long as she wear a dress. Her pictures weren't good because she's not that bad--in fact, for over there, she's darn good. The WAVEs have a nice place to dance so it's fun to go there. He spend the entire day cleaning and straightening up the tent. After it piles up for about a week he has to clean up so he can find his way around, and he makes the resolution not to let it get this way again, but that wanes in about 2 days.
