This is a special edition letter as T. Sgt. Owen M. Hamilton is being sent back to the states for discharge. He was shocked, and this will be his last letter as all the rest of his stories will be told in person. There is so much to tell he doesn't know where to begin. He will leave there for Nagoya, Japan on the 22nd to await transportation to the states. That can be anywhere from 48 hours to 10 days, but the ball has been started rolling. After leaving Nagoya it will be 9-12 days, but after a 21 day cruise, 12 seems easy. When he gets to the states (and he won't believe it until he sees it) he'll try to call. Don't write any more letters for now.
