This weekend he's going to Pittsburg, KS, which is supposed to be quite a place. He will travel by train, leaving Neosho at 5:30 Saturday and getting back Sunday night. This kind of breaks the monotony and since the food hasn't been good lately, he likes to eat out. He asks how things are in Evansville. He's heard that Helen (no further identification) really intends to set the world on fire, and says she must have gone over big in a simple sort of way.
