Description

Correspondence from Owen Hamilton to his sister June Meyer (June E. Hooe Hamilton Meyer, 1919-2010 (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/81471045/june-e_hooe-meyer). He apologizes for his stationary--he's still at Ft. Sill despite the letterhead. He will pull out Friday and hopes he gets to come home for a few days--he will let them know as soon as possible. He had a good time in TX and a home cooked meal, the first he's had since joining the Army. It was a Mexican style home in the open country with a few hills in the background. It was a newer home and one of those kind that cover a lot of ground with just one story high. The roof was red tile, and the floors were also tile and each room on different elevations. He saw some good looking girls and if he gets back, he wants to see Dallas. He started to call the Jones (no further identification), but could not remember which one died, so to save himself embarrassment, he let it go.
