There are at least 3 generations of Potter Palmers, the first being a prominent businessman, owner of Marshall Fields, and the Palmer House Hotel. Given the time frame implied by the style of dress, this is most likely Pauline Kohlsaat, who married Potter Palmer, Jr. around 1908.
