It was the first religious community in town. It changed names and merged with other congregations several times, finally becoming First Presbyterian in 1926. It still stands and has an active congregation today. Mrs. Paul Schmidt (Samuella) was married to an attorney. In her own right she was actively involved in the community and had been a dress designer of some renown. She died October 3, 1954. Anne Reilly never married, but was noted as a member of an early Evansville family upon her death on February 24, 1945. 001529493 542__ $$fhttp://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC-NC/1.0/ 001529493 6531_ $$aLocal Buildings 001529493 6531_ $$aLocal History 001529493 6531_ $$aPlaces of Worship 001529493 6531_ $$aBuildings and Structures 001529493 6531_ $$aPeople and Communities 001529493 6531_ $$aPhotographs 001529493 6531_ $$aRegional History 001529493 6531_ $$aRelated Materials -- 1901-1950 001529493 6531_ $$aReligion and Spirituality 001529493 655__ $$aBlack and White Photograph 001529493 691__ $$aIndiana 001529493 7001_ $$aUnknown 001529493 8564_ $$9b8aa7669-5a27-417a-98b6-29cd094ef81c$$s2846177$$uhttps://library.usi.edu/record/1529493/files/3807.jp2 001529493 909CO $$ooai:library.usi.edu:1529493$$pGLOBAL_SET 001529493 914__ $$ap17218coll2 001529493 980__ $$aSpecial & Regional History Collection 001529493 984__ $$aFlorita Eichel Collection 001529493 985__ $$aImage
