World War II radio drama based on letters written by Owen Hamilton. Owen Hamilton was born on January 12, 1921 in Evansville, IN and graduated from the University of Evansville; he also attended Indiana University's “Executive Development Program” and Marquette University's “Consumer Finance Institute”. Hamilton served in the United States Army during World War II from 1943 to 1945. He worked for American General and SIGECO, and was a member of civic organizations and fraternal orders. Hamilton wrote a book, On Your Mark, Get Set, Hold It! Memories over WWII, in 2002, based on his war experiences. He was married to Allie for 49 years until her death, and they had three daughters and one son. He was married to Joan L. at the time of his death on August 3, 2004.
