Street flooded in front of Riverview Inn with sandbags in front of the inn--at the corner of Water St. and State St. (no longer standing). The water is up to the entries of these buildings, probably already inside some of them. The river crested at 56.6 ft. in Newburgh, with flood stage at 38 ft.
