Harry Reasoner was in Evansville to dedicate the new building of the local ABC affiliate, at that time, WTVW, Channel 7. He also spoke to a joint luncheon of 6 civic clubs (Rotary, Kiwanis, Optimist, Civitan, Lions, and Exchange) at the Executive Inn at 600 Walnut St. The photograph here was taken at the luncheon. The man at the podium with Reasoner is unidentified, although it appears as though his last name may be Thomas.
