Description

Group of 4 women and 1 man, plus a young boy, on the side porch of Walter Owen's home. The young boy wears a basket/crown of some sort. One of the pillows appears to have a swastika on it. It should be noted that the swastika was ""an ancient religious icon used in the Indian subcontinent, East Asia and Southeast Asia, where it has been and remains a sacred symbol of spiritual principles in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. In the Western world, it was historically a symbol of auspiciousness and good luck," long before it was co-opted by the Nazi party. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika) NOTE: There was a Walter Dale Owen, a great-grandson of Robert Owen, originator of the 2nd New Harmony experiment. This may or may not be the same person who owns this house.
