Police inside the projection room at the Studio Art Theatre at 2113 W. Franklin St., an adult movie theater and bookstore. Built in 1908, this building housed mainstream movie theaters with various names (Palace/Franklin/West End Palace) until sometime during the 1970s when it became an adult entertainment venue. This photograph is in connection with a raid by then Vanderburgh County prosecutor William Brune in an effort to enforce an obscenity law enacted July 29, 1975. The building was razed in the 1990s.
