Indiana governor Edgar Whitcomb and his wife, Patricia, along with other members of the official delegation, Lt. Gov. Richard Folz and Treasurer John K. Snyder, present a floral wreath to Col. Leonard Sims, an Army escort officer, on behalf of the state of Indiana, for Mrs. Eisenhower, upon the arrival of the carrying the body of former President Dwight D. Eisenhower. A crowd estimated at 10,000 greeted the train on this, its only Indiana stop.
