A 3-alarm fire destroyed the Luggage Shop fire at 423 Main St. on a Sunday morning. In all, 140 firefighters, 8 pumper trucks, and 3 snorkel trucks labored for about 3.5 hours to put out the fire that had started on the 3rd floor. The fire was attributed to a malfunctioning gas line that caused the boiler to overheat. No one was injured. Here firemen are directing a woman out of harm's way.
