Identified as Harry Slater at Hiatt Pond. Presumably these are his children--2 sons, 2 daughters. The girls have collected flowers, the boys are fishing. There was a J.W. Hiatt who was a landscape architect in New Harmony, but whether or not this pond is associated with him is unknown.
