Evansville Courier photographer Sonny Brown was a friend of Hee Haw cast member Grandpa Jones, who was born in Niagara, KY (in Henderson County---just across the river from Evansville, IN) and thus was able to visit the set and take lots of backstage photographs. Here makeup artists are working on Grandpa Jones to create a head injury.
