St. Stephen's Episcopal Church at 318 Main St.This church was consecrated June 14, 1855, but apparently before that the congregation used a portion of the old Rappite church. The church was rebuilt in 1911/1912, with a consecration on February 26, 1912. The building in this photograph is the pre-1912 building. Today's church does not resemble this at all. A group of people stand in the churchyard.
