This fire began in the Atlas Tack building at the corner of O'Byrne and Atkinson St." then was blown across O'Byrne St. into an open field full of tires, and from there debris from the tires blew it back into warehouses at the corner of Clay and Atkinson St.. It was feared it would spread across Clay St. to this Zephyr gasoline station, but fortunately that did not happen. Here a firetruck is using its ladder to spray water down from above.
