Harry Reasoner was in Evansville to dedicate the new building of the local ABC affiliate, at that time, WTVW, Channel 7. He also spoke to a joint luncheon of 6 civic clubs (Rotary, Kiwanis, Optimist, Civitan, Lions, and Exchange) at the Executive Inn at 600 Walnut St.The photograph here was taken at the luncheon. Standing on the left is E. Berry [sic] Smith, president of WTVW, and next to Reasoner is Evansville Mayor Russell G. Lloyd, Sr. The man standing behind him is unidentified.
