An article in the February 5, 1970 edition of the Evansville Courier describes the action depicted here as an extracurricular halftime activity that devolved into several fights, with only 4 policemen on hand to maintain order. Six students were eventually evicted from the game. This was a University of Evansville Aces vs. one of their primary rivals, the Kentucky Wesleyan University Panthers. UE won, 92-81.
