In 1964 then Senator Hubert Humphrey was in Evansville as the vice-presidential nominee on the ticket with Lyndon B. Johnson for president. Here he is greeting supporters inside the courthouse. Just visible in the left foreground is Indiana Senator Vance Hartke.
