Reception for Karl K. Knecht, honoring him for being the oldest, in terms of service, cartoonist in the country. Karl Kae Knecht was a cartoonist, columnist, and photographer for the Evansville Courier 1906-1960. The reception was held in the Empire Room of the Vendome Hotel at 24 NW 3rd St. Here Knecht shakes hands with a tall, slender, unidentified man.
