Transparencies and Negatives Collection: Historic photographs. Louis Wade Wilson House: This house is located at 737 E. Church Street. F. J. Schplatter of Evansville, Indiana was the architect of this house. The house was built for Louis Wade Wilson who lived there with his wife Louanna French and their daughter Cecil Pearl (and eventually her husband Edwin Boyer). His father, John Wilson, lived next door just east of his own home at 805 Church Street and his brother, Doctor Thomas Wilson, lived one plat west of his home at 729 Church. Louis Wade Wilson was an insurance agent based in the town. This photo shows elderly Wilson and his wife sitting in the pony buggy of a traveling photographer, posing for the photo.
