Fauntleroy House: This house is located on West Street just north of the Chadwick House on plat number 11. The house is an original Rappite structure and was built in 1820. In 1841 the house was purchased by Robert Henry Fauntleroy for his wife Jane Dale Owen Fauntleroy. The Minerva Society, a literary club, was founded in the house by Constance Fauntleroy, Robert and Jane�s daughter, in the year 1859.
