Schnee House: This photo is of the second Schnee home located at 603 West Street and was constructed in 1876. The first Schnee home was constructed during the Rappite occupation of the town, the Schnee brothers having moved to the town from the Quaker colony in Pennsylvania, and that house was located at 517 Tavern Street. The Gypsy Girl Livery Stable was later constructed behind that home. This photo is of the east side of the house, which faces West Street. The photo was taken after the old concrete porch was replaces with this wooden one with decorative corbels.
